October 10, 2004 – CHICAGO (Graph Expo) – Enfocus Software is showcasing its Enfocus PDF Workflow Suite designed to achieve the ultimate in total, inter-company PDF quality management, here at Graph Expo.  By combining Instant PDF, PitStop Professional, PitStop Server and a CertifiedPDF.net license, Enfocus gives publishers and printers all the tools needed to set-up, communicate and implement PDF quality specifications (expressed as PDF Queues), as well as check and correct incoming PDF files.

Shipping in mid-October, the Enfocus PDF Workflow Suite includes the latest releases of all Enfocus solutions, including Instant PDF 3.0 and CertifiedPDF.net 2.0.  Now that Instant PDF 3.0 automatically updates PDF Queues published on CertifiedPDF.net, Enfocus takes the communication about PDF specifications to an unprecedented level of access, control, and reliability.

In addition, the many Enfocus Certified PDF users with Contributor accounts - who rely on CertifiedPDF.net - will benefit from its new, automated functionality and flat price structure, resulting in synchronized updating of PDF Queues for all their workflow partners using Instant PDF.

Printers or publishers use Instant PDF 3.0 to create and then publish PDF Queues to CertifiedPDF.net, thereby easily communicating their PDF specifications to any number of partners and suppliers also using Instant PDF.

The Enfocus PDF Workflow Suite includes a single site license for CertifiedPDF.net.  CertifiedPDF.net is the ultimate tool for printers and publishers to effectively communicate PDF output requirements, via Enfocus PDF Queues, to designers and content creators.

PDF Queues can be based on included specifications for industry standards such as PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3 and Ghent PDF Workgroup; thereby eliminating time and effort required to create specifications from scratch.

The features and benefits of CertifiedPDF.net can also now be part of any website through new integration functionality.  This allows printers and publishers to set up their websites as single, interactive "one-stop" sources of information about their companies and production processes.

Document creators subscribe to, and import, the PDF Queues posted on CertifiedPDF.net from within Instant PDF 3.0. A newly introduced synchronization mechanism updates any changes to the PDF Queue, ensuring that the most recent specification is always available for use by the designer.

Using Instant PDF 3.0, designers can then create perfect Certified PDFs that comply with the specific quality standards as defined by the specifications in the PDF Queue. This results in error-free print production.

PitStop Server automates checking and correction of incoming PDFs. Certified PDFs created with Instant PDF are immediately identified and move faster through production. Non-Certified PDFs are preflighted, automatically corrected, and move through production with little or no direct interaction.
