Enfocus Named a Xerox Business Partner of the Year 2007
11 March 2008 – Gent, Belgium – Enfocus announces it has been named a “2007 Business Partner of the Year” in the prepress category by Xerox Corporation’s Production Systems Group. The award was presented at Xerox’s annual partner conference at Redondo Beach in California on February 13th for the company’s continued contribution to Xerox, its customers and the printing industry. Xerox’s Production Systems Group, which operates the company’s high-end production, publishing and printing business, recognized 17 partner firms for their superior digital workflow, software and finishing solutions.
Steve De Wilde, responsible for OEM Business at Enfocus, received the award at the event: "Being awarded Xerox Business Partner of the Year in the prepress category came as a positive surprise to Enfocus. We consider this as Xerox' token of appreciation for the Enfocus Certified PDF technology as well as the Enfocus product range. At the same time, this confirms the excellent partnership between Xerox and Enfocus. As the relationship will continue to grow, Enfocus will further expand its offerings to provide Xerox with the best prepress solutions in the industry."
The Enfocus partnership with Xerox was established in 2002 and since then, both companies have successfully worked together to launch products with Enfocus technology onto the market. Today, Xerox printers are geared towards the commercial on-demand market and are able to offer PitStop Server, PitStop Professional as integrated enhancements to FreeFlow Process Manager for use with Xerox iGen3, Xerox Nuvera, DocuTech and DocuColor products. The suite consists of industry-leading tools for working with PDF files that automate and streamline print job submissions for the production print center.
